The High-Stepping 10-Week Old
Today was another "Nonno morning." I walked over to my son and daughter-in-law’s place and found my granddaughter exactly where she loves to be: in her bassinet, mesmerized by the mobile above her.
As I watched her lying on her back, I couldn't believe 10-week-old legs could move that fast. The first thing that flashed through my mind was Roger Craig, the 49ers running back who was finally elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame this week.
Remember his powerful stride? High-stepping knees that punished defenders? Watching her little legs go, I’m calling the shot right now—we have got the 21st-century Roger Craig right here in this bassinet.
Today, I found joy in a 10-week-old high-stepping like a Hall of Famer. Where did you find joy?
